This "Sugar Sand" beach is rated in the top 10 in the United States and is similar to Johnson Beach at the Gulf Islands National Sea-Shore on Perdido Key. Condos and Beach Homes abound on this small island. You'll find a few duplex or multiplex investment properties here and of course commercial investment is going up at an almost frenzied pace. Real Estate is becoming more and more expensive here as there is a limited supply of properties available for new construction. Resale properties are always available but are generally sold quite fast.
The beach you see on the right of the photo is spectacular with white sand contrasted to the blue to blue green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Great for your health if you like to walk.
